Elder Bergmark sings

So one of the elders in the mission, Elder Bergmark got invited to sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and some of us decided to go see him perform, It was different seeing the choir in their grubbies or whatever you call it, but it was a great night.

Sister Taylor's Goodbye

We all took pictures after the devotional which is on Mondays and said goodbye to Sister Taylor who was leaving the mission.

So all the young missionaries had a little get together for Sister Taylor who was leaving the mission, We will all miss her. A lot of the other missionaries came in just as we were taking pictures and so we just kept taking them but all in all it was a fun night.

A Mission adventure

Here we all are in front of the David O. Mckay home

So I took a trip with a few of the senior couples in the mission and one of the young elders and went to Brigham City a few weeks ago, I'm now updated with it all. Anyways we went to see the David O. Mckay home where he grew up but was a month off from seeing inside the house they have tours from like June 1st to Sep 1, It was pretty awesome though.

General Conference- Saturday Morning

I was actually able to get into all four sessions of Conference and did a full circle too. Saturday morning-plaza, Saturday afternoon-terrence, Sunday Morning-Balcony, and then my room mate didn't go and so she gave me her ticket and then I was on plaza again, two of them were standby. I loved Elder Holland's talk, he did great.

Taking a picture of the conference center seating, look at all the people. Wow!!!

Indexing Zone young missionaries

All the young missionaries in the indexing zone. One of the senior sister missionaries that's leaving wanted a picture with all of us.

Relief Society Broadcast

Here at the Relief Society broadcast in the conference center and had a pretty good seat and sat by some people that were from Europe somewhere and their first time in the conference center. What was cool is that I saw Elder Russell M. Nelson pretty close up, they wanted to take a picture of him since they had connections by this one lady that was there and they asked me if I wanted them to take a picture for me of him and I said no. I relized afterwards I could have had a picture of him but oh well.

Family History Surprise

So a little spiritual experience I had, I had went to the Family History Library a few weeks ago and was just wanting to do something on my p-day instead of sitting in my apartment all day so yea went to the library and first started zooming through films actually before that looking in the family history catalog on Family Search and looking for burials in Llandefalle, Wales and one of the senior elders that works in the library found me this book that had a index for burials for who was buried there, but anyways as I said I started zooming through films for a couple of seconds and decided I wanted to look through this book that this elder had found for me. I thought of just looking for Bufton in it and well what did I find? I found my 3rd great grandparents bufton, a 2nd great aunt that had passed away at the age of 25(a daughter), and well to my surprise another daughter named Maria who I had no idea about who passed away when she was only a year old and the reason I had no idea too is because she's no where in the Wales 1871 Census and so it was pretty awesome to be able to find that information, I love family history.
